We are proud to announce that in November 2025, the El Pojom clinic was formally transferred to Health & Help, marking the beginning of our responsibility for the site and the realization of a long-standing strategic goal.
The following months were dedicated to assessment, rehabilitation planning, and community coordination, with operational activities beginning in January 2026 as preparations were completed.

Despite its breathtaking landscape, this community of nearly 10,000 people lives without electricity, reliable transportation, or running water—and, most critically, without a single certified medical professional.
According to WHO standards, a population this size should have at least 25 titled health workers. El Pojom has none.
Our Goal:
To restore the clinic and fully reopen essential medical services — including:
- Primary healthcare
- Emergency support
- Maternal and child health services
- Health education and disease prevention
How You Can Help
Expanding to a third clinic is a bold step. It strengthens our impact — and increases our responsibility.
Help us bring sustainable healthcare back to El Pojom.
Together, we can ensure that an entire community is not left without medical care — and give thousands of people a real chance at a healthier future.
