Country: Guatemala , Nicaragua
Program duration: Remote, approx. 15 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Connecting with the potential donors by partnering with media, news outlets, and bloggers in the U.S. and potentially in the Central America
  • Searching for relevant information, such as contact info for journalists, bloggers, and media in the U.S. and potentially in the Central America
  • Creating and updating a database of partners
  • Analyzing information 
  • Communicating  with global media representatives in the U.S. and potentially in the Central America
  • Keeping track of released press about the organization 
  • Preparing analytical reports
  • Working with Excel, Google, and Trello

Requirements:

  • College degree (we welcome students who are working towards one!)
  • A basic understanding of the PR field and its basic tools
  • A strong desire for the professional development in NGO field
  • Experience working with media/bloggers is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Spanish would be a huge plus
  • A passion for working and developing professionally in the PR field 
  • Being ready to work in a dynamic environment that includes multitasking 
  • Attention to detail, communicativeness, responsibility, strong creative and analytical skills
  • Supporting the mission and values of the Health & Help project
