Responsibilities:
- Participation in project cases to promote Health & Help and attract new partners and friends of the organization
- Connecting with the potential donors by partnering with media, news outlets, and bloggers in the U.S. and potentially in the Central America
- Searching for relevant information, such as contact info for journalists, bloggers, and media in the U.S. and potentially in the Central America
- Creating and updating a database of partners
- Communicating with global media representatives in the U.S. and potentially in the Central America
- Keeping track of released press about the organization
- Preparing analytical reports
- Working with Excel, Google, and Trello
Requirements:
- College degree (we welcome students who are working towards one!)
- A basic understanding of the PR field and its basic tools
- A strong desire for the professional development in NGO field
- Experience working with media/bloggers is a plus
- Good knowledge of Spanish would be a huge plus
- A passion for working and developing professionally in the PR field
- Being ready to work in a dynamic environment that includes multitasking
- Attention to detail, communicativeness, responsibility, strong creative and analytical skills
- Supporting the mission and values of the Health & Help project
