Health & Help is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential medical care to underserved communities in Guatemala and Nicaragua. We rely on donations and partnerships to fund our life-saving initiatives, and our dedicated fundraising team plays a key role in making this possible.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and organized Fundraising Department Coordinator to support our Fundraising Director by handling the day-to-day operations of the fundraising department. This role is crucial for helping streamline our processes, manage donor relationships, and ensure the smooth execution of fundraising campaigns. If you’re detail-oriented, passionate about making an impact, and experienced in managing projects, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Fundraising Director with daily operational tasks and help coordinate department activities.
  • Participate in Fundraising department meetings, take notes, and assign action items.
  • Manage and maintain our donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Support the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Draft and send donor communication, including thank-you notes, updates, and newsletters.
  • Conduct research on potential donors, partners, and grant opportunities.
  • Prepare reports on fundraising activities, campaign performance, and donor engagement.
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and timelines for fundraising initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align on goals.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in fundraising, project coordination, or administrative roles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Google Workspace is required; familiarity with Asana is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and donor databases.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in taking ownership of tasks.
  • English language at B2 level, Spanish is highly encouraged.
