Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and organized Fundraising Department Coordinator to support our Fundraising Director by handling the day-to-day operations of the fundraising department. This role is crucial for helping streamline our processes, manage donor relationships, and ensure the smooth execution of fundraising campaigns. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Fundraising Director with daily operational tasks and help coordinate department activities.
- Participate in Fundraising department meetings, take notes, and assign action items.
- Manage and maintain our donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Support the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and events.
- Draft and send donor communication, including thank-you notes, updates, and newsletters.
- Conduct research on potential donors, partners, and grant opportunities.
- Prepare reports on fundraising activities, campaign performance, and donor engagement.
- Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and timelines for fundraising initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to align on goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fundraising, project coordination, or administrative roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Google Workspace is required; familiarity with Asana is a plus.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and donor databases.
- Self-motivated and proactive in taking ownership of tasks.
- English language at B2 level, Spanish is highly encouraged.
