This truly means a lot to me
Hi everyone! I’m Kate — a volunteer at Health & Help, and probably your friend or acquaintance if you’ve landed on this page.
March 27 is my birthday, and instead of postcards or flowers, I’m asking you to support a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart.
Some of you may not know, but I have a second identity outside of my day-to-day job — I’m a volunteer. And through this role, I get to do something quite special: help save lives. As dramatic as that may sound, it’s real.
Last year, this work even brought me to the United Nations General Assembly, where I had the honor of sharing the mission of Health & Help with global partners. Every time I talk about partnerships or think about how I want to contribute to the world, I’m grateful to be part of something bigger than myself.
Health & Help runs clinics in remote areas where people often have no other access to medical care. A donation of just $15 can mean a patient gets to see a doctor or receive essential medicine. Think of it as giving me a potted plant for my birthday — except this gift is someone’s visit to a doctor. Sometimes, it’s a life saved.
Thank you for standing with me.
Kate
