Last year I embarked on a journey to one of the Health&Help clinics in Guatemala to make a documentary film about them. I can't shake off the urgent and heartbreaking situation that awaited me there. There are so many people battling diabetes, and the reality they face is tough beyond words. These clinics are struggling with inadequate resources and limited access to life-saving medications and tools. Something as essential as medication is out of reach for them. I believe we can make a significant difference together. I'm starting a fundraising campaign to raise money for medications and other essential diabetes care tools that these patients desperately need.
